Description	:	Alice Martha (Rivinius) Iszler was born on January 11, 1924 on a farm South of Heil to Carl and Rosina (Seidler) Rivinius. Alice attended Elementary School at Cowan School District #2, and continued living on the family homestead helping her brother's farm until 1953, when she moved into Elgin. Alice worked for Warren and Edna Laub for several years; she also worked in the laundromat for a short period of time. In August of 1964 she married Ervin J. Read More	Alice Martha (Rivinius) Iszler was born on January 11, 1924 on a farm South of Heil to Carl and Rosina (Seidler) Rivinius. Alice attended Elementary School at Cowan School District #2, and continued living on the family homestead helping her brother's farm until 1953, when she moved into Elgin. Alice worked for Warren and Edna Laub for several years; she also worked in the laundromat for a short period of time. In August of 1964 she married Ervin J. Iszler and went back to farming North of New Leipzig until she retired in 1984. Alice then moved to Elgin. She was a member of the Zion Evangelical Lutheran Church. Alice also played the organ for the German Church Services in the old Lutheran Church. She also enjoyed gardening; reading, fishing, and especially enjoyed spending time with her Grandchildren. Alice entered the Jacobson Memorial Care Center in the August of 2003, where she died January 17, 2007. Alice is survived by her son and daughter-in-law, Wayne and Nancy Iszler; 3 grandchildren, Heather, John, and Hannah, all of Elgin, ND; one brother, Harold Rivinius, Elgin, ND; 2 sisters-in-law, Alma Rivinius, Elgin, ND; Hertha (Raymond) Adolf; Bismarck, ND; and many nieces, nephews, and cousins. She was preceded in death by her parents; 3 brothers, Theodore, Rubert, and Salomon Rivinius; 2 sisters and brothers-in-law, Alvina (Emanuel) Wutzke and Johanna (Arthur) Bruhn, and her sister-in-law Delores Rivinius. Burial in Zion Lutheran Cemetery.
