Mrs. Gottschalk was born Oct. 23, 1905 in Hays County, Neb., the daughter of Pearle Otto and Nora Mae (Kugler) Thompson. She had lived in Minburn since 1910. She had been a resident of Perry Lutheran Home for the last three years. She married Mahlon Lawrence Gottschalk on Feb. 25, 1924 in Minburn.
