Description	:	On Friday, May 31, occurred the death of Miss Amelia Krohnke of Schleswig, at the home of her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Henry Krohnke, the cause of death being heart failure. Read More	On Friday, May 31, occurred the death of Miss Amelia Krohnke of Schleswig, at the home of her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Henry Krohnke, the cause of death being heart failure. The deceased had been an invalid for many years and had been confined to the house most of this time. Amelia Krohnke was born on a farm in Morgan Township, Crawford County, Iowa, on October 18, 1884. Eighteen years ago, she suffered her first attack of heart trouble and since then she had been in poor health. She bore up well under her suffering and was always cheerful and pleasant, a fact that won for her the admiration and love of all who knew her. About five months ago, she was taken seriously ill and had been confined to her bed since then. Besides her sorrowing parents, she leaves to mourn her death a brother, John Krohnke of Schleswig; two sisters, Mrs. William Bielenberg and Mrs. William Bumann of Bloomfield, Neb.; and a host of relatives and friends. The funeral was held at the church and was one of the largest funerals ever held here. The remains were interred in the Morgan Township Cemetery, Schleswig. Out of town relatives who were present were: Nick Suckstorf and William Threde, both of Treynor, Iowa, John Suckstorf and George Rickert, both of Bloomfield, Neb., Julius Nielsen of Rushville, Neb., and Amanda Petersen of Ipswich, South Dakota.
