Description	:	Amos Melin died Monday Funeral services will be held Thursday, October 28, at 2 p.m. from Trinity Lutheran Church, rural Kenmare, for Amos L. Melin, 92, who passed away Monday at the Kenmare Community Hospital. Rev. Donald Burton will officiate at the service. Mrs. Magnus Martinsen will be organist and Mrs. Julie Burton, vocalist. Read More	Amos Melin died Monday Funeral services will be held Thursday, October 28, at 2 p.m. from Trinity Lutheran Church, rural Kenmare, for Amos L. Melin, 92, who passed away Monday at the Kenmare Community Hospital. Rev. Donald Burton will officiate at the service. Mrs. Magnus Martinsen will be organist and Mrs. Julie Burton, vocalist. Pallbearers will be Lynn Mehus, Donald Hanson, Carl Hanson, Rick Melin, Steve Melin, Gerard Melin, Kirt Jensen and Mark Jensen. Amos Lincoln Melin was born March 27, 1890 at Litchfield, Mn. and moved with his parents to the Norma area in 1901, to farm. He married Ada Anderson at Mohall on June 20, 1934. They continued to farm in the area until his retirement in 1966. Mrs. Melin passed away in 1979, and later that year he moved to the Baptist Home. During his entire lifetime, Mr. Melin enjoyed singing, both for his own enjoyment and for the enjoyment of others. Survivors include four sons, Allan, John, Ralph and Carl, all of Kenmare; three daughters, Mrs. Clayton (Mae) Hanson of Green River, Wyo., Mrs. Kenneth (Shirley) Jensen and Lois Mehus, both of Kenmare; and 21 grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his wife, one brother, two sisters and one granddaughter. Visitations are from 11 a.m. this morning until 6 p.m., and from 9 a.m. until noon Thursday.
