Description	:	ANDREW A. WERLING, LIFELONG WELLS RESIDENT, DIES AT 83 Andrew A. Werling, 83, of rural Ossian, died of natural causes at 10:10 p.m. Sunday at his home. He was born April 25, 1905 in Wells County to Andrew and Louise Franzmeyer Werling. His marriage to the former Velma Hoffman, who survives, took place in St. John's Lutheran Church, Flatrock, on Jan. 1, 1936. Read More	ANDREW A. WERLING, LIFELONG WELLS RESIDENT, DIES AT 83 Andrew A. Werling, 83, of rural Ossian, died of natural causes at 10:10 p.m. Sunday at his home. He was born April 25, 1905 in Wells County to Andrew and Louise Franzmeyer Werling. His marriage to the former Velma Hoffman, who survives, took place in St. John's Lutheran Church, Flatrock, on Jan. 1, 1936. He had formerly been self-employed as a sawmill operator and as a blacksmith. He was a member of the Bethlehem Lutheran Church, rural Ossian. Other survivors, in addition to the wife, are one daughter, Mrs. Dale (Virginia) Fry of Fort Wayne; three sons, Ervin Werling of Ossian, and Amos Werling and Calvin Werling, both of Fort Wayne; one brother, Arnold Werling of Chicago, Ill.; ten grand-children and one great-grandson. Friends may call at the Elzey-Dickey-Haggard Funeral Home in Ossian from 2 to 9 p.m. Wednesday and one hour prior to services, scheduled for 10:30 a.m. Thursday, at the Bethlehem Lutheran Church. Graveside rites at the Bethlehem Lutheran Church Cemetery will be under the direction of Rev. William R. Brege. Preferred memorials are to the Bethlehem Lutheran Church organ fund.
