Andrew William Henry was born Jan. 22, 1882, in Keokuk county near Keota. He was the son of John and Barbara Horning Henry. He was reared and educated in Keokuk county. On Jan. 24, 1905, he was united in marriage to Katherine Lahr. He had made his home in Jefferson county for the past 46 years, farming and shipping livestock from East Pleasant Plain for a number of years. His address is rural route 2, Fairfield. He was preceded in death by his wife who died March 5, 1959, his parents and one brother. Survivors include two sons, Clarence of St. Louis, George of Chicago; two daughters, Mrs. Eugene Kaska, Fairfield, and Mrs. Clem Eagle, Washington; also 16 grandchildren, three great grandchildren; two brothers, John and Lee Henry, both of Keota; and a sister, Mrs. Maude Walton, Iowa City.
