Burial was at the Riverside Demeter, Spencer. Mrs. Drury passed away Friday, Aug. 7, at the McCroskey nursing home in Hartley. Mrs. Otto Selk and Miss Connie Selk sang "In the Garden" accompanied by Mrs. Arvin Schmidt, the organist. Angie Mae Evans Drury, the daughter of Frank and Hattie Whitting Evans, was born March 31, 1887, at Early, Iowa. She joined United Methodist Church in Early in her youth and received her education in the Early public school. She taught in a rural public school before her marriage. She married Millard Wilson Drury on Dec. 14, 1910. They lived on a farm near Early until 1918, when they moved to a farm northeast of Everly, Iowa. Six children were born to this union. They were active members of the Everly Methodist Church. Mrs. Drury served as president of the Ladies Aid, Sunday School Superintendents, member of the Choir, and later as president of the W. S. C. S. When Millard retired from farming they moved to Spencer. There, Mrs. Drury became a member of the Baptist Church. Because of the poor health of last 11 years, she has lived at the McCroskey nursing home in Hartley, Iowa where she passed away Friday at 4:30 PM at the age of 83 years, three months and seven days. Survivors include two sons: Wilson and Franklin of Everly; two daughters, Francis Mrs. Al Limmeroth of Dufur, OR, Joan, Mrs. Robert Block of Ottosen, Iowa 10 grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; two daughters in law; two sons-in-law; other relatives and friends. Two daughters, Harriet Mrs. Waldo Peters, an infant, Beatrice and her husband, her parents, and only sister and three brothers preceded her in death.
