When just a little girl she moved with her parents to Earlville, Iowa. On May first, 1873, she was united in marriage to William Burdick. To this union were born four children, Rosella, who preceded her in death, August 25th, 1919; Stella, Guy and Fred, all of Lewellen. Read More	Garden County News (Oshkosh, Nebraska), Apr. 14, 1932, Page 1 Ann Catherine Fleming was born May 23rd, 1851, at Muncie, Indiana. When just a little girl she moved with her parents to Earlville, Iowa. On May first, 1873, she was united in marriage to William Burdick. To this union were born four children, Rosella, who preceded her in death, August 25th, 1919; Stella, Guy and Fred, all of Lewellen. They moved to Albion, Nebr., in 1896 where her husband passed away, May 16th, 1896. In 1910 she moved with her family to Lewellen, Nebraska, where she has resided until her death, April 2nd, 1932, at the age of eighty years, ten months and eleven days. She united with the Methodist church at Albion, Nebraska, in 1905 and was received here by letter, and lived a faithful, loyal member. Besides her family, she leaves to mourn her loss, one sister, Mrs. Ella Clark, one brother J. A. Fleming of Albion, Nebr., five grandchildren, Minnie, Mary and Arthur Kelley of Hopkinton, Iowa, Harold and Wayne Burdick of Lewellen, two nephews, Roy and Leslie Fleming and other relatives and a host of neighbors and friends. Shed not for her the bitter tears Nor give the heart to vain regret 'Tis but the casket that lies here The gem that filled it sparkles yet. Funeral services were held Tuesday afternoon from "The Friendly church" with Rev. Charles Estahbrook of Overton a former pastor, delivering the sermon, and Rev. Arnold O. Kenyon, pastor of the church, in charge of the service. The Home Undertaking Parlors of Oshkosh were in charge of the funeral arrangements.
