She is survived by her husband Martin, three sons, Eite of Milford, Ia. , Everet of Spencer, Ia, Harold of Everly, and two daughters, Marie (Mrs. Normam Wood ) of Spencer Ia., Mildred (Mrs. Donald ) Kleet of Everly. She is survived by her husband Martin, three sons, Eite of Milford, Ia. , Everet of Spencer, Ia, Harold of Everly, and two daughters, Marie (Mrs. Normam Wood ) of Spencer Ia., Mildred (Mrs. Donald ) Kleet of Everly. On March 5, 1908 she was joined in marriage to Martin Roskens at the brides parents home in Westport Township. Her parents were Everd & Juerena ( Groenewold ) Bleeker. After her marriage she established a farm home with her husband North of Everly. Eight and a half years ago when Mr & Mrs Roskens retired and moved to Spencer, Ia. She was preceded in death by a son Herman, her parents and two brothers, surviving relatives include four sisters and two brothers, Ed Bleeker and Everet Bleeker both of Spencer, Mrs Hattie Boyenga of Ackley, Mrs Harry Winterboer, Everly, Mrs. George Boyenga of Grundy Center, Ia. and Mrs Ed Boyenga of Ackley. There are 17 grandchildren and one great grandchild, several nieces and nephews and a host of friends. Mrs Roskens begin taking part in the church activities at an early age and continued active all her life. She was a church organist also a Sundy School teacher. She had been a member of the First Reformed Church of Everly and also ladies Aid. When they moved to Spencer membership was transferred to the Hope Reformed Church. She was a member of the Lydians Socitey of the church. Funeral services were held at the Hope Reformed Church of Spencer on Aug. 16, with the Rev. Peter Yff oficiating. Burial was at the First Reformed Church Cemetery. Larry and Dell Roskens accompained by Janice Roskens sang "No Night There " and "Going Down The Valley" Pall bearers were Harry Meyer, Orville Bleeker, Jerry, Ed, Eite and Roy Roskens.
