WEBER DIED FRIDAY Funeral Services Were This Morning At Oyens For Longtime Resident Mrs. Anna C. Weber of Oyens passed away on Friday, September 17, at 5 p. m. at the Sacred Heart Hospital in Le Mars at the age of 65 years, 6 months and 25 days. She had been sick since December, 1947. Anna Weber, nee Fiedler, was born on February 26, 1883, in Fredonia Township, the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Jacob Fiedler. She was united in marriage to Mike Weber on April 12, 1910, at St. Catherine's Church, Oyens, with Rev. Msgr. H. Rolfes officiating, and lived at Oyens since June 10, 1918. She was a member of the Christian Mothers Society and the Catholic Daughters of America. Surviving besides her husband are two brothers, Frank and John Fiedler of Oyens. Other relatives are Mr. and Mrs. Cletus Mayrose of Sioux City, Evelyn Fiedler, Sioux City, Catherine Brucher, Remsen, Mike and Lena Kintzle, Walnut Grove, Minnesota, Mrs. Peter Yanacheak ond daughter, JoAnn of Sioux City. She was preceded in death by her parents and one brother, Albert. Funeral services were held at 9:30 this morning at St. Catherine's Roman Catholic Church in Oyens, by Rev. Father H. B. Karhoff. Burial was in St. Catherine's Cemetery at Oyens with Ray Fiedler, Cletus Mayrose, Roman Fiedler, Arnold Fiedler, Joe Hoffman and Cletus Hansen as pallbearers. Wlitgen's Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
