She was the daughter of Mr. & Mrs. Adolph Hedegaard. She graduated from the Savage schools and attended normal school at Eastern Montana Normal School in Billings. She taught school at the Midway community for three years prior to her marriage to Herbert Walter Kuester, June 11, 1933. The couple made their home near Savage. She was the daughter of Mr. & Mrs. Adolph Hedegaard. She graduated from the Savage schools and attended normal school at Eastern Montana Normal School in Billings. She taught school at the Midway community for three years prior to her marriage to Herbert Walter Kuester, June 11, 1933. The couple made their home near Savage. Three children were born to this marriage, John Herbert, 19, attending his second year at Concordia College, Gerald Lee, 16, and Marilyn Fay, 10, both at home. Mrs. Kuester was confirmed in 1947 by Rev. Stephen Dale at the First Lutheran Church at Savage; she was baptized when a child. She was president of the Ladies' Aid for 2 years, 1950 and 1951, and served as church organist for several years. Mrs. Kuester passed away at the Sidney Memorial Hospital, Sunday afternoon, November 22, at the age of 41 years. Her father preceded her in death Oct. 19, 1952. Besides her husband and the children, she is survived by her mother, Mrs. Marie Hedegaard; five brothers, Nicolie, Peter, Adolph, Jack, and Marion Hedegaard; and one sister, Lena Corey. Funeral services were held at the First Lutheran Church at Savage, MT, on November 25. Rev. Ole Helland conducted the services. Burial was in Riverview Cemetery at Savage, Montana."
