STAVA LAST EVENING After Long Illness Patient Called to the Last Long Rest at Home South of Plattsmouth. ________________________________________ From Wednesday's Daily: Tuesday evening March 11, 1924, at 8:50 at the family home on the farm south of Plattsmouth occurred the death of MRS. M.G. STAVA, as the result of a long period of illness and to the patient, long suffering, the messenger of death came as a great relief and the easing of the burden that she has uncomplainingly borne for many months. ANNA(Dostal)STAVA was born in Iowa, September 30, 1870, and was a daughter of Joseph and Anna (Cihacek) Dostal, and with her parents came to Nebraska in the early 1870's then located in Butler county where they resided for a long period of years. On December 20, 1891, she was united in marriage at David City to Martin G. Stava Jr., one of the industrious young farmers of that community and there the family made their home for a number of years. Mr. and Mrs. Stava, with their family came to Cass county in 1914 and located on the farm outside Plattsmouth where they have since resided. To survive the passing of this good woman there remain the husband, M.G. and seven children; Louis, Edward, Tom, Mrs. Eva McCarthy, Lucy, Emily and Catherine, all of whom reside in this city and vicinity. There also survives the aged father Joseph Dostal of Plattsmouth and eight brothers and sisters. Mrs. Frank Stava, Rushville, Nebraska; Joseph Dostal Jr., Prague, Oklahoma; Ed Dostal, Louis Dostal, Mrs Dvorak, Mrs Bradzel and Mrs. Emma Angel, all living in Butler county and Mrs. Halavacek of Yankton, South Dakota. The funeral services will be held on Thursday, March 13, 1924 from the St. John's Catholic Church and the interment made at Holy Sepulchre cemetery, Plattsmouth.
