Norwood of Emmett, Idaho; Mrs. Young of Boise, Idaho; and one sister, Mrs. May of Blackwell, Oklahoma.The Norwood family moved from Eddyville, Iowa, to Nuckolls county (sic) in 1872, and settled on a homestead seven miles north east of Nelson. No one underwent more hardships with a smile than did Sister Norwood. Her home was always open to everybody. In sickness "Aunt Anna" was always called for and she went all over this part of the country day or night and never uttered a complaint. During the hardships of the early days, the lean years and grasshopper times, she would always say, "Oh well, we'll get along some way." Her Christian life was a great inspiration and example to all. She was one of the charter members of the Ox Bow Christian church (sic). When not at the service, the question was always put, "where is Aunt Anna?" In other words she was the kind of Christian that is messed when gone. This good sster's (sic) early advantages were poor; at Ortley, So. Dakota, August 24 (NOTE: at Ortley, So. Dakota, August 24 belongs to another obit in the newspaper), leaves as a monument to her greatness her good deeds. This was the first death in the family in fifty-two years.
