The Rev. W.H. Parker of Glidden officiated, with the Rev. R.J. MacDanel of Carroll assisting. Mrs. Carson Summers presided at the organ before and after the services and Mrs. O.B. Moorhouse of Glidden played the accompaniments for the men's quartet of Glidden, who sang "Beautiful Isle 0f Somewhere" and "Rock of Ages." Burial was in the Carroll Cemetery, with F.A. Meyers, J.C. Wohlenberg and H.C. Rawhouser of Carroll and D.E. Waldron, Charles Ruhs, and August Dierks or Glidden serving as pallbearers. Relatives from a distance at the services included Mr. and Mrs. Robert Graham, Hartington, Neb.; Mr. and Mrs. Ernest Graham and family, Randolph, Neb.; Mrs. Clifford Larson, Plainview, Neb.; Mrs. Frederick Stutheit, Brunswick, Neb.; Mr. and Mrs. Arthur J. Graham and Mr. and Mrs. H.C. Graham, Wall Lake; Donald Graham, Boone; Mrs. Ida Daugherty and K.J. Daugherty, Odebolt; Mr and Mrs. Frank Juergens and son, Glenn, Houston, Tex.; and Mrs, William Fraizer, who lives in a suburb of Washington, D.C. There were also many relatives and friends present from Glidden and the surrounding territory. Mrs. Juergens, who had been in ill health all summer, died Saturday morning at the home of her sister, Mrs. Ida Dougherty in Odebolt, where she had been visiting for about ten days. Mrs. Juergens, whose maiden name was Anna Graham, was a daughter of J.B. and Jane Graham, who were among the early settlers of Carroll county. When she was a small girl she came here with her parents from Ontario, Canada, the place of her birth. They settled on their farm two and one-half miles south and one mile east of Carroll. They were living on this farm when her mother died May 6, 1877, only a few years after the family had moved here. May 22, 1906, she married William Bedford of Carroll. They spent the ensuing years in Carroll, which was their home when Mr. Bedford died July 3, 1922. After her husband's death, she continued to reside here in her home on North West Street. In November, 1929, she married Cord Juergens of Glidden. Mr. and Mrs. Juergen have maintained their home in Glidden, but have gone to Corpus Christi, Tex., annually to spend the winters. Mrs. Juergens is survived by her husband, five sisters, Mrs. W.A. McKenzie, Miss Adelaide Graham, Miss Euphemia Graham and Miss Mary Graham of Carroll, and Mrs. Ida Daugherty of Odebolt; two brothers, Robert Graham of Hartington, Neb., and Arthur J. Graham of Wall Lake; one stepson, Frank Juergens of Houston, Tex., and one step-daughter, Mrs. William Fraizer, who lives in a suburb of Washington, D.C. Her mother died May 6, 1877 and her father, Nov. 14, 1917. She was also preceded in death by one brother, Albert H. Graham, who died Dec. 23, 1936. Mrs. Juergens was a member of the Presbyterian Church, with which she had united in early childhood. She belonged to Central Rebekah Lodge No. 191 of Carroll.
