Denison Review - Fri, Jan 25, 1901 - Westside - Mrs Henry Dohse nee Sievers, died at the home of her son Henry Dohse, one mile east of this city, Monday evening, Jan 21, 1901 at the advanced age of 75 years. The deceased was born in Germany and came to this country with her husband in 1871 settling in Carroll county. Her husband Henry Dohse, Sr, died in 1894. The deceased, since the death of her husband, had lived with her only son, who is one of our most highly esteemed citizens and who will sorely miss the living and tender sympathy of his departed mother. There is much consolation, however, in the fact that she lived a ripe old age and was content to die. The funeral services were held at the home. A large number of mourning and sympathetic friends followed the remains to their final resting place in the Westside cemetery.
