Read More	Mrs. Anna Ickler Succumbs After Long Illness Mrs. Anna Margaret Ickler, one of the early residents of Creighton, who has resided here for over a half a century, passed away at the family home on Monday evening at 5:10. Her death came after a long illness, which was attributed to heart trouble. The deceased was born in Altdorf, Bavaria, Germany, August 7, 1853 and died August 5, 1935 at the age of 81 years, 11 months and 29 days. Those, who knew this woman best, loved and honored her most. A host of friends and neighbors mourn the loss of a kind and honorable friend, whose kindly disposition and Christian character stand out in the memory of all, who had the privilege of a close acquaintance with her. Two sons, Siebert of Wayne and Will of Creighton, three daughters, Mrs. Katherine Romine, Creighton, Mrs. Margaret Hofmann, Battle Creek and Mrs. Bertha Gruchow, Neligh are left to mourn the departure of their mother from this life. Her husband, two daughters and one son preceded the deceased to the other world. Funeral services will be held Friday morning at 10 o'clock from the home and at 10:30 from the Zion Evangelical Lutheran church. The rites will be conducted by Rev. Geo. Obermeyer. The sermon at the home will be preached in German and at the church in the English language. Burial will be in Greenwood cemetery.
