Description	:	MRS. ANNA OVERMAN Last rites for Mrs. Anna Overman, 84, were held here Wednesday at the Sutphen Funeral Home conducted by the Rev. L. H. Athey. Mrs. Overman for many years, a resident of Villisca, died Monday morning at the home of her son, L. J. Overman in Kansas City, Missouri, where she had been for the last five months. She had been with her daughter, Mrs. Jessie Brown, at Snyder, Colorado, for eight years prior to going to the home of her son. The singing at the funeral was by Mrs. Icle Fisher, accompanied by Mrs. Eva Eno, and the pall bearers were A. F. Veak, Frank Selley, Frank Butler, John Moritz, Ed Wagaman, and Grover Holt. Interment was in the Villisca Cemetery. Anna Marie Larson Overman was born in Sweden on September 26, 1865 and she came to America with her parents at the age of thee years. They first located in Illinois. In 1881, she was united in marriage with Thomas A. Overman and settled in Villisca where they made their home the remainder of their lives. To them five children were born, three of whom preceded the mother in death; Carry in 1908, Manford in 1938, and Charles in 1948. Those surviving Mrs. Overman are the Mrs. Brown of Snyder, Colorado, the son L. J. Overman of Kansas City, two grandsons reared in the Overman home from childhood, Elmo Reed of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, and Ted Reed of Omaha, Nebraska; 27 grandchildren, 20 great grandchildren, and two great great grandchildren.
