Mrs. Lee was the driver of a car that was struck by a flat-bed truck Saturday afternoon, along North Dakota highway 1806, about 11 miles north of Beulah, the patrol said Sunday. The truck, driven by 38-year-old Wayne Boeshans of rural Beulah, struck the car as the truck entered the highway off a gravel road, the patrol said. Mrs. Lee was dead on arrival at a hospital in Hazen, according to the patrol. Her husband, Theodore, 56, received minor head cuts and was treated and released from the Hazen hospital, the patrol said. Anna Marie Melin was born May 25, 1937 at Norma, a daughter of Isaac and Gertrude Melin. She was raised in that area and graduated from the St. Agnes Academy in Kenmare in 1957. On October 29, 1957, she married Theodore C. Lee at Fertile, Mn., and they made their home in the midwest, where Mr. Lee was employed in construction. They moved to Norma in 1969, and made their home there until moving to Zap, where they have resided the past five years. She was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church. Survivors include her husband; one daughter, Dorothea, and two sons, Todd and Jamie, all at home; two brothers, Robert Melin of Mohall and Francis Melin of Palmer, Alaska; and six sisters, Dorothy Melin of Kenmare, Mrs. John (Winnifred) Gottschall and Mrs. Carl (Helen) Schock of Benedict, Mrs. Arlo (Josephine) Larson of Mount Lake Terrace, Wn., Mrs. Joan Vedaa of Stanley and Mrs. Murphy (Ellen) Clark of Powers Lake.
