Per the family history, 1885. There was a census in England and clearly, Anna was still there in 1882. She and her Husband John Poulton were living by Rapid Creek, Lawrence county, South Dakota, USA in. From 1910 census, Ann is living in Cherry county Nebraska, where she lived until her death on 03 Oct 1924. John Pouton Sr and Ann Ormesher had the following children: 1. John Pouton Jr 2. Maggie Pouton 3. Thomas Marsh and Ann Ormesher had the following children: 1. Thomas Marsh was born about 1869 in Standish, Lancashire, England. 2. Ann Marsh was born about 1871 in Standish, Lancashire, England. 3. William H. Marsh was born about 1873 in Boulton, Derbyshire, England. 4. Alfred Marsh was born about 1874 in Appley Bridge. 5. Fred Marsh was born in Wigan, Lancashire, England. 6. Frank was born in Wigan, Lancashire, England Ormesher family records show James Pouton was a son of John Sr and Anna Ormesher Marsh Pouton. He died of diphtheria at age 10 and is buried in the Ormesher-Schlagle Pioneer Cemetery at a high point overlooking the Niobrara River south of Valentine. Also the records show that "Maggie" was not Anna's daughter, but a child of her niece, Phoebe Ormesher Abbot, that Anna took as an infant and raised until age 12. There then was a custody case which resulted in the child being returned to her mother, Phoebe. Anna's Obituary Appeared in the Valentine Paper, it reads: Another pioneer of Cherry Co. has gone to her reward, when on Friday, October 3,1924, the death of Anna Ormesher Pouton occurred in Omaha. The deceased was born in Langtree Hall, Standish, England. Before coming to the United States in 1885 with her children, she lost her first husband. The family settled in Pa. where she married John Pouton in 1887 and the Pouton family moved to Cherry Co. and have resided on the Schlagle Creek with the exception of a few years spent in the black Hills. Besides her husband and one son John, Jr., the deceased leaves to mourn her one sister, Alice Higgin of Valentine and Thomas Marsh of Bay, City Mich., Mrs. McCray of S. Omaha, William Marsh of White Wood, S. Dakota and Fred Marsh of Lead, S. Dakota. The funeral was held from the Episcopal Church Monday and burial was in Mt. Hope. Note;" Mrs. McCray" was probably Anna's daughter Anna Marsh. As she died in Omaha, she may have been living there with her daughter. Son Alfred Marsh is not mentioned as he died at age 20.
