Description	:	Mrs. Anna Wilhelmina Nimtz, age 91, died Friday, October 19, 1973, enroute to the hospital in Ottumwa, of an apparent heart attack. She was born March 11, 1882, northwest of Sigourney, the daughter of Albert and Pauline Nahnke Brandenburg. She was a member of the United Methodist church in Sigourney and the United Methodist Women. On April 24, 1901, she was married to Charles John Nimtz at Sigourney and they lived on a farm northwest of Sigourney until retiring and moving into town. He preceded her in death July 31, 1953. She was a member of the United Methodist church in Sigourney and the United Methodist Women. They were the parents of four children: two daughters, Mrs. Mabel Cuddy of Sigourney and Mrs. Henry (Leona) Rosenboom of Eddyville; and two sons, Karl of Sigourney and Albert who died on June 28, 1973. In addition to her three children, she is survived by two granddaughters, and one grandson; six great-grandchildren; and two sisters, Mrs. William Hackert and Mrs. Lulu Aldinger, both of Sigourney. Preceding her in death besides her husband and son, were her parents; a brother, John and a sister, Lena. Funeral services were held Monday, October 22, at two o'clock at the United Methodist Church with the Rev. Frank L. Greenwood officiating. Mrs. Charles Phelps was the organist and Thelma Derby, soloist. Interment was in the Pleasant Grove Cemetery.
