JACKSON STRICKEN AT HOME **************** Middleburg Lady To Be Interred In Village Cemetery Wednesday ************** After being in ill health for six months and seriously ill for the past three days, Mrs. Annie Elizabeth Jackson, 63, wife of P.P. Jackson, of the Middleburg community, died at 8:20 a.m. today at her home. She suffered with a complication of diseases. Mrs. Jackson was a native of Franklin County, where she was born September 18, 1876. She had lived many years on Route 1, Middleburg. In addition to her husband, Mrs. Jackson is survived by one son, T.J. Jackson, of Franklinton, and four daughters, Miss Novella Jackson, Mrs. S.W. Lassiter, Mrs. G.H. Bowling and Mrs. G.H. Royster, all of Vance County; two brothers, Jesse Ball, of Nash County, and Otho Ball, of Franklin; also three sisters, Mrs. C.T. Wester and Mrs. W.F. Wester, both of Franklin county, and Mrs. W.H. Smith, of Wilson county. Her mother, Mrs. Mollie Clark Ball, also survives, and lives with a son in Nash county. Her father, the late Isham Ball, died 15 years ago. Mrs. Jackson was a member of the Baptist church at Middleburg for 33 years, and was well known in her community and in the county. Funeral services will be held at 3 o’clock Wednesday afternoon at the Middleburg Baptist church, in charge of Rev. E. Norfleet Gardner, pastor of the First Baptist church of Henderson, assisted by Rev. T.W. Lee, pastor of the Middleburg charge of the Methodist church. Interment will be in the Middleburg cemetery. Pallbearers were announced as follows: Active, Early Wester, Jerome Jackson, Perry Ellington, Ben Wester, Marvin Breedlove and Horace Jackson, all nephews; honorary, E.L. Fleming, E.O. Falkner, J.G. Tolson, G.B. Blum, J.L. Lassiter, J.T. Bowling, I.B. Royster, J.R. Lassiter, Marshall Barnes, Virgie Hicks, F.B. Robards, E.O. Young, C.P. Rogers, James Carroll, R.L. Bennett, John Turner, G.W.
