Description	:	Funeral services were held Tuesday Oct. 9 at 2 p.m. at First Presbyterian church for Mrs. Frank H. Collins aged 68, who passed away very suddenly early Sunday morning at her home. The services were in charge of Rev. G.G. Nusbaum, pastor. Favorite hymns were sung by Mrs. Oren Rininger and the Chancel choir, Miss Barbara Barrett accompanist at the organ. Currie and Dale Franken. Annie L. Currie was born Aug. 30, 1888 at Odebolt, and passed away in Schaller on Oct. 7, 1956. Mrs. Collins suffered a severe heart attack about two months ago, and after her dismissal from the Schaller hospital, went to the home of her sister, Mrs. H.E. Rininger where she stayed for two weeks. She had sufficiently recovered enough to return to her own home and had only been home a week when she suffered the fatal attack. She lived most of her life in this community with the exception of a few years spent in Wisconsin, and was held in high esteem by all. Mrs. Collins was preceded in death by her parents, one brother, William and one sister, Mrs. Kathryn Rogers. She leaves to mourn her husband, Frank, one daughter, Ruth of Des Moines, one son, Robert, two sisters, Mamie E. Currie and Mrs H.E. Rininger of Schaller, three brothers, John D. Currie and M.E. Currie of Schaller, and Chester J. Currie of Ames, four grandchildren, number of nieces and nephews and a host of friends. Taken from the Storm Lake Register 16 Oct 1956.
