Mister, passed away at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Avy Tyler, in Lawsonia at 2:55 o'clock Saturday afternoon. Read More	One of the oldest and most beloved citizens of Crisfield and Somerset county, Mrs. Annie M. Mister, passed away at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Avy Tyler, in Lawsonia at 2:55 o'clock Saturday afternoon. The cause of her death at the age of ninety-one years, was complications and infirmities of age. The deceased was the widow of the late James Mister, well-known ship carpenter and waterman of this city who passed away some years ago. She was the daughter of the late James T. Lawson and Sarah Lawson, pioneer residents of this territory before Crisfield was settled. Mr. and Mrs. Lawson, as well as Mrs. Mister, were active in the settling and development of this community and the outlying districts. Mrs. Mister, who until a few weeks ago, was very active for a lady of her age, was of the highest type of character and possessed many fine traits that endeared her to all. Young and old alike were numbered among her friends and her cheerful disposition and her ready smile made it an extreme pleasure to be in her company. She was a sweet, motherly, Christian lady who delighted in lending aid to all who was less fortunate than she. She was a member of the Asbury M. E. Church. Surviving are four daughters, Mrs. Addie Barnes and Mrs. Donie Milbourne, of Crisfield, Mrs. Avy Tyler, of Lawsonia, and Mrs. Altha Ward, of Wilmington, Del., and three sons, Mr. George Mister and Mr. Norman Mister, of Lawsonia and Mr. Dallas Mister, of Crisfield. Thirty-four grandchildren, thirty-six great grandchildren and three great, great grandchildren, also survive. Funeral services at which the large attendance and the many floral tributes banked around the casket as she was slowly lowered to her final resting place, were held Monday afternoon at 2:00 o'clock from the Asbury M. E. Church. Rev. J. T. Rowlenson, pastor of the church, officiated and was assisted by Rev. H. D. Dukes, pastor of the Pilgrim Holiness church. Interment was in the Asbury Cemetery.
