Bozman Died Of A Heart Attack Tuesday SON'S WIFE DIED IN NORFOLK SAME DAY Shock or excitement upon the receipt of a telegram from her son telling of the death of his wife in Norfolk, Va., proved fatal to Mrs. Absey E. Bozman, esteemed Lawsonia matron on Tuesday of this week. Upon receiving the telegram from her son, Raymond Bozman, who for a number of years has been making his home in Norfolk, in which it was stated that his wife, Mrs. Zula Emma Neathery Bozman, a former resident of Danville, Va., had passed away that morning, Mrs. Borman hurried to the home of her half brother, George Hall, nearby, to show him the wire and collapsed shortly after arriving there. She was immediately carried to her home and death followed within a short time. Mrs. Bozman had been suffering with a heart ailment for some time, prior to the fatal stroke. Mrs. Bozman, who was the daughter of the late William P. and Nancy C. Sterling, esteemed pioneer residents of this section, was sixty-four years of age and was the widow of the late John Bozman, who preceded her in death by a little less than two years. A member of the Asbury Methodist Church, the deceased was a noble, Christian woman, who was held in high esteem by all who knew her. She was a wonderful wife and mother, and a true neighbor and friend. Because of her many splendid traits of character, because of her kindness to everyone, she had a legion of warm friends, who were distinctly stocked and greatly grieved to learn of her passing. Funeral services were held on Friday at the Asbury Methodist Church with the pastor, Rev. J. T. Rowlenson, officiating. Interment was in Asbury cemetery. Surviving are four sons, John Bozman and Granville Bozman, all of the suburbs, and Raymond Bozman, of Norfolk. A brother, Jesse Sterling and a half brother, George Hall, both of this section, also survive. Mrs. Raymond Bozman, who was forty-two years of age, died in a Norfolk hospital at 5:50 o'clock Tuesday morning, after an illness of about three months.
