Bozman, widely known and highly esteemed waterman of this city, died in the U. S. P. H. Hospital in Baltimore last Friday. He was 56 years old. He had been a patient in the hospital for more than two months, and his condition had been critical for several weeks. He was a veteran of World War I, in which he won promotion to Corporal, with the 29th Division overseas. For some years he had been a faithful member of the Pilgrim Holiness Church here, attending its services and taking an active part in its work. A man of honesty and integrity, he was well liked as a neighbor and friend, and had won a place for himself in the hearts of many people. He was accommodating, helpful, and a fine citizen. Funeral services were held in the Pilgrim Holiness Church on Monday at 2:30 p. m., conducted by the pastor, the Rev. Charles L. Engrem, assisted by the Rev. W. M. Whalen, pastor of the Holiness Christian Church and Dr. Alton W. Greenlaw, pastor of the First Baptist Church. Interment was in Asbury Cemetery, where a graveside service was held by members of Stanley Cochrane Post of the American Legion. Surviving him are his widow, Mrs. Jeanette Tyler Bozman, one son, Mr. Terry Bozman, a step-daughter, Miss Ada Parks, all of this city, and three brothers, Raymond Bozman of Washington, D. C., and Granville Bozman and John T. Bozman of Crisfield.
