Bozman, esteemed citizen of Lawsonia, passed away at his home in that community on Saturday last following an illness of only six days. He was sixty-six years of age. Bozman Passed Away After Brief Illness BURIED MONDAY IN ASBURY CEMETERY John T. Bozman, esteemed citizen of Lawsonia, passed away at his home in that community on Saturday last following an illness of only six days. He was sixty-six years of age. Born in Somerset county, he was the son of the late Washington Bozman and Micha Anne Bozman, also of this county. A number of years ago the deceased came to Crisfield, where he had since made his home. Extremely active until the illness which caused his death, Mr. Bozman daily followed his occupation of waterman. Because of the love of the water, his honesty and industriousness, he was fairly successful. He was a familiar figure around the waterfront where he spent most of his time. He was highly respected by other watermen, as well as people in all walks of life, and greatly loved by all who knew him. Surviving are his widow, Mrs. Absey Bozman and four sons, George Bozman, John Bozman, and Granville Bozman, all of Lawsonia, and Raymond Bozman, of Norfolk, Va. One sister, Mrs. Mary Sterling, and two brothers, James Bozman and Wes Bozman, also survive. Funeral services were held from the Asbury Church at 2:30 o'clock Monday afternoon with the Rev. J. T. Rowlenson, pastor, and Rev. H. D. Dukes, pastor of the Pilgrim Holiness Church, officiating. Interment was in the Asbury cemetery.
