Mrs Armina J Fletcher, widow of George F Fletcher, passed to her rest on the morning of November 6, at the home of her son on Bridgewater Hill. Last July she met with a sad accident, a fall resulting in a fractured hip. All was done that loving care could do for her comfort, and she grew better of that and every hope was entertained for her complete recovery, but the weakened condition of a system not strong before her misfortune, caused failing strength. Sweet and patient during all her long illness, her last message was of love and good cheer to those around her. Mrs Fletcher was born at Plymouth, Lower Intervale January 26, 1838, in the house where for the last five years she made her home. In her youth she joined the Methodist church of Plymouth and was all her life a consistent and deeply interested member. Cordial and warm hearted always, she had many friends, and to all who knew her she leaves the memory of a brave, cheerful and beautiful life. Of a family of nine brothers and sisters, Mrs Eliza Lee of Galveston, Texas and Mrs Emily Moses of Meredith survive. She also leaves two sons, Scott W of Lakeport and Sherman S of Bridgewater, and four grandchildren. Funeral services were held Saturday afternoon with Reverend A L Smith officiating. With flowers given by the family were beautiful pieces from Plymouth and Meredith also from the Women's aid Society, Neighborhood Friendly Society and friends at Worcester, Mass. The bearers were the sons and grandsons. Interment at Green Grove Cemetery, Brown and Gammons in charge. >The Plymouth Record, November 13, 1913, p4.
