Description	:	Havensville Review June 9, 1927 KILLED IN RUNAWAY Arthur Channel, an elderly teamster, 897 West Sixth, Emporia, was almost instantly killed this afternoon when a team he was driving was frightened by a Ford car and ran away, throwing him from the wagon and fracturing his skull. He was rushed immediately to the Newman Memorial County hospital where he was pronounced dead. Channel was driving east on West Sixth Avenue near his home, when a stripped-down Ford struck his wagon and frightened the team.
