Description	:	RICHARDS, ARTHUR P.—Arthur P. Richards was born in Orland, Steuben county, Indiana, March 2, 1863. He died at the family home north of Geneva t 5:20 Thursday morning, October 3, 1940. He came to Nebraska with his parents in 1872, and located near Fairmont, later residing in Grafton for a short time, then moving near Geneva, where he spent the remainder of his life. Read More	RICHARDS, ARTHUR P.—Arthur P. Richards was born in Orland, Steuben county, Indiana, March 2, 1863. He died at the family home north of Geneva t 5:20 Thursday morning, October 3, 1940. He came to Nebraska with his parents in 1872, and located near Fairmont, later residing in Grafton for a short time, then moving near Geneva, where he spent the remainder of his life. He was married to Effie Morse, December 5, 1900, at Hebron, Neb. To this union three children were born, Glen A. of Geneva, Cecil P. of Grafton, and Jesse C., who resides on the home place. Besides his three sons, a niece, Carrie E. Hillgren, made her home with them until her marriage. Mr. Richards was a kind father, always considerate of those around him. He had been a constant sufferer for a long time. Nevertheless, he was always mindful of his helpmate who, through his long illness cared for him uncomplainingly. Mr. Richards leaves to mourn his departure, his faithful companion, his three sons, nine grandchildren, and five nieces, also a wide circle of friends. The funeral was held at the home Saturday afternoon, October 5, Rev. William Kilburn officiating. Interment was in the Geneva cemetery. The Nebraska Signal October 10th, 1940 page 1.
