Description	:	Wolgamott Services Held At Loup City Funeral services for Arthur (Dow) Wolgamott, 78, were held Monday at the Steele Funeral Home Chapel in Loup City. The Rev. Douglas DeNeui officiated. Graveside rites were conducted by member of the Loup City American Legion. Burial was in the Evergreen cemetery. Graveside rites were conducted by member of the Loup City American Legion. Burial was in the Evergreen cemetery. Arthur (Dow) was born October 15, 1899 at Tobias to Albert and Eva Weeks Wolgamott. He died February 3, 1968 at Loup City. Dow spent his youth and early manhood in Gosper county where he became well known to those living in Elwood, Smithfield, and Edison. He served in World War I, with the 350th Infantry of the 88th Division in France. He married Adaline Brooks Arrasmith at Elwood, June 1, 1929. They made their home in southern Gosper county until the drought of the 1930's forced them to move to the sandhills near Long Pine. They moved to a farm near Arcadia in 1947 where they continued to live until retiring and moving to town a year ago. Dow was a member of the Lee Furguson Post 348 of the American Legion in Edison and of the World War I Barracks of Arapahoe. He was preceded in death by his parents; two brothers, Ray and Rolly; also two sisters, Inez Ryan and Elizabeth Fanner. Mr. Wolgamott is survived by his wife; two stepsons, Cassius Arrasmith of Grand Island and Howard Arrasmith of Omaha; two grandsons, Daniel and Steven Arrasmith of Grand Island; a brother, Archie of Wilder, Idaho; and two sisters, Mrs. Myrtle Cole of Holdrege and Mrs. Jack Savage of Oakland, California.
