| Description | : | Athanissa was born to William Robert Neal, and Phoebe H. Romans Glandon. She married Amos Huff 10 Dec 1863 in Belmont, OH. Shortly after, he went to fight in the Civil War and was wounded. He spent over a year in the hospital. Their first child was born during his war service, and they later had 12 more children. They moved to Van Buren Co., IA, and had about half of their children there. The remainder of their lives were spent in IA. They died on the same day, 10 minutes apart, of cholera.
