Description	:	August Meyer, son of Henry and Isabel Meyer, was born April 30, 1883, near Jansen, Nebr., and passed away at his home in Nelson, Nebr., Dec. 22, 1950 at the age of 67 years, 7 months and 22 days. In infancy he was baptized in the Lutheran faith, and was instructed and confirmed at the age of sixteen. On June 29, 1904, he was united in marriage to Nettie Demilt. He leaves to mourn his passing his loving wife, who cared for him so faithfully during his long illness; his three children, Floyd E. Meyer of Nelson, Kenneth L. Meyer and Mrs. Thelma E. Dunken, both of Corbett, Ore.; four brothers, Fred, Henry and Frank Meyer of Nelson, and Charley Meyer of Camas, Wash.; one sister, Mrs. Sophia Barfknecht of Cadams, Nebr.; and five grand children. His parents, three brothers and two sisters preceded him in death. Funeral services were held Tuesday afternoon at 2 o'clock in the Christian church in Nelson, with the Rev. C. M.
