He is survived by his wife, the former Ola Demilt, four sons and three daughters, Alfred and Ralph of Nelson, Mrs. Mildred Zimmerman of Nelson, Mrs. Norma Maschmann of Hebron, Mrs. John Fisher of San Bernardino, Calif., Harlan of nelson and Don of Superior, and one brother, Frank Meyer of Nelson. Burial is to be made in the Nelson cemetery (sic). The Nelson Gazette, Thursday, March 31, 1960 ======= Henry Meyer, son of Henry and Ilsibine Spellmeyer, was born in Germany Febr. 12, 1881. He came to the U.S.A. when and infant of six weeks and settled at Clatonia, Nebr. At the age of 11 they moved to Nuckolls county (sic). In 1905 he was married to Ola DeMilt at the family home south of Nelson. To this union seven children were born, Alfred, Ralph and Harlan of Nelson, Donald of Superior, Mildred Zimmerman of Nelson, Norma Maschmann of Hebron and Marjorie Fisher of San Bernardino, Calif. He moved from the farm in 1945 to Nelson, where he made his home. He passed away at the Mary Lanning hospital in Hastings Mar. 29 at the age of 79 years. He was baptized when an infant and confirmed in the Lutheran faith, of which he was a life-long member. He leaves to mourn his passing his wife and children, and 13 grandchildren and 9 great grandchildren. He was one of eleven children and only one brother, Frank, remains. He was a kind and loving husband and father and grandfather, always thinking of his loved ones first. Funeral services were conducted Saturday, April 2, 1960, at 2 o'clock p.m. at the Salem Lutheran Church, the Rev. Haferman officiating. Burial was made in the Nelson cemetery (sic).
