The funeral was Monday at St. Paul Lutheran Church with the Rev. Robert Miller officiating. Burial was at the Burdett Cemetery in Otis. Mrs. Klinzman was born Dec. 2, 1900 to Fritz and Anna Sophia (Suchsland) Gemaehlich in Athol, Kan. The family moved to Kensington, Kan. in 1901. Read More	Obituary provided by contributor PassingTime (47816658): Barbara Christine Sophia Gemaehlich Klinzman, 95, of Otis, died July 11, 1996. The funeral was Monday at St. Paul Lutheran Church with the Rev. Robert Miller officiating. Burial was at the Burdett Cemetery in Otis. Mrs. Klinzman was born Dec. 2, 1900 to Fritz and Anna Sophia (Suchsland) Gemaehlich in Athol, Kan. The family moved to Kensington, Kan. in 1901. In 1907 the family moved to a homestead in the Burdett Community. She went to school in the area, but then went to live with her grandparents in Auburn, Neb. Where she received Confirmation instruction. She was confirmed in 1916 in Hickory Grove. Neb. She married Albert Klinzman on Feb. 11, 1919 at her parents’ farm in the Otis-Burdett community. The family lived in the Burdett community. She recently entered the Yuma Nursing Home. She was very active in the Pillars of St. Paul Lutheran Church in Otis and was a Sunday school teacher for 45 years. She is survived by a daughter, a son, a daughter-in-law, a sister, two brothers, ten grandchildren, 30 great grandchildren and two great-great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband; two sons, Adolf and Walter; five sisters, Margaret Muchow, Agnes Johnson, Alvina Dunker, Anna Steele and Emma Busing, and two brothers, William and Herman Gemaehlich.
