Description	:	Herman Henry Gemaehlich, 87, of Cheyenne, Wyo. and formerly of Otis, died Tuesday, Sept. 20 in Cheyenne. Funeral services will be held 2 p.m. Friday, Sept. 23, at St. Paul Lutheran Church in Otis with the Rev. Robert Miller officiating. Interment will be at Burdett Cemetery with Yeamans and Gordon Memorial Chapel in charge of arrangements. Mr. Gemaehlich was born Aug. 8, 1907 in Kensington, Kan., to Fritz and Anna Suchsland Gemaehlich. He moved to Colorado with the family at an early age, residing in Burdett and Otis. He married Helen Diereks in Wray March 2, 1935. Mr. Gemaehlich drove the school bus for the Lone Star School and served on the school board for the White and Rich mond Schools. He was a 4-H lead er for the Sunnyside 4-H Club for several years, and farmed in the Burdett community until his retirement in 1985. In 1987, he and his wife Helen moved to Cheyenne where they lived with their daughter LaVaughn until they both entered the Life Care Center in Cheyenne. He is survived by his wife, Helen, six sons, Don and wife Karen of Otis, LaVergn and wife Dianna, Arnold and wife Carol, and Norman, all of Sterling, Marvin and wife Margaret of Cheyenne, and Ronald and wife Tammi of Greeley; two daughters. La Vaughn Bresnahan of Cheyenne and Linda Koehler and husband Dale of Sterling; two brothers, Fred and wife Dorothy of St. Francis, Kan., and Henry and wife Daisy of Sterling; three sisters, Barbara Klinzman and Margaret Muchow. both of Otis. Minnie Henning of Kensington. Kansas; 27 grandchildren, four great- grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by a brother William, four sisters Alvina, Emma, Agnes and Anna- and two grandsons. Memorials may be made to the Burdett Cemetery, the Washington County 4-H Foundation or St.Paul Lutheran Church of Otis.
