Surviving is a special niece, Tammy Bowman of Walnut Cove. In addition to her parents, Miss Bowman was preceded in death by sisters, Leah Martin, Lena Bowman, and Vera Eaton, Josie Bowman; and brothers, Gaston Bowman and Guy Bowman.
