He was a member of the First United Methodist Church at Lawrence, and the American Legion at Perry. He was a former member of the Perry Lions Club. Besides his wife, of the home, survivors include a daughter, Carolyn Oroke, Lawrence; a son, Roger Seyler, Wichita; a brother, David Seyler, Wellsville; a sister, Beverly O'Conner, Wellsville; and four grandchildren. The family suggests that memorial contributions be made to the American Heart Association or the First United Methodist Church at Lawrence. Hawkins Funeral Home, Sarasota, Fla., is in charge of immediate arrangements.
