Bertha had lived at the Salina Nursing Center since August 1986, when she moved there from her home in Salina. She was formerly from the Langley Community near Marquette. Survivors include one son; Marvin Hendershot, Salina; one daughter; Vada Carlson, Marquette; five grandchildren; twenty-one great grandchildren and two great great grandchildren.
