She was born Jan. 1, 1898, at Moravia, Iowa, the daughter of Monroe and Lavada Adams. She had spent most of her life in Moravia and Ottumwa until the family moved to Hammnd recently. She was born Jan. 1, 1898, at Moravia, Iowa, the daughter of Monroe and Lavada Adams. She had spent most of her life in Moravia and Ottumwa until the family moved to Hammnd recently. She married Wilbur Kingery on Oct. 26, 1914. Surviving are her husband and eight children: Mrs. Laverne Utterback. Berniece Tinley, Rex and Clayton, of Ottumwa; Ivan and Billy Gene of Grand Rapids, Mich.; Florence Lamantia of Hammond, Ind.; and Dave of Gary, Ind. She also leaves her mother, Mrs. Lavada Peck, and two sisters, Mrs. Stella Lenz of Des Moines and Mrs. Effie Hammond of Ottumwa. She has a brother, Frank, in Port Huron, Mich. Fifteen grandchildren also survive her. She was preceded in death by her father and one sister, Mrs. Nina Jarvis. The body arrived in Moravia Saturday morning at the Turner Funeral Home. Funeral services were held Sunday with the Rev. W. F. T. Evans officiating, interment at Hillcrest cemetery.
