Her death was caused by Pneumonia (sic). The services will be at the Raymond funeral home with the Rev. Harold Kruger in charge. Burial will be in Evergreen cemetery. Bessie Speirs Sauer, 69, was born Aug. 10, 1892, in Davis county, Iowa, the daughter of George and Jennie Jones Speirs. She was married to Phillip Sauer at Fairfield on June 6, 1914. She was a member of Rebekah lodge No. 96. Mrs. Sauer is survived by two daughtes, Mrs. Virgil Shamblin, Fairfield, and Mrs. Derald Swisher, Bode, Iowa; along with two grandchildren. Members of the Rebekah lodge are to meet at the Raymond funeral home Monday afternoon to attend the services.
