She was born Alice Bradshaw to George Washington and Ellen Jane (Barr) Bradshaw on Jun 7, 1908 at Ellensburg. Read More	OBIT: Alice Orndoff, 91, a resident of Leavenworth for the past 20 years and a former resident of Thorp and Ellensburg, died Friday, July 16, 1999 at Central Washington Hospital in Leavenworth. She was born Alice Bradshaw to George Washington and Ellen Jane (Barr) Bradshaw on Jun 7, 1908 at Ellensburg. She grew up and received her education in Thorp, graduating from Thorp High School in 1926. She then attended Ellensburg Normal School. On January 7, 1932, she married Fred P. Orndoff at Ellensburg and they made their home in Thorp. In 1940 they moved to Ellensburg where they made their home until moving to Leavenworth in 1979. She was a member of the Methodist Church, Thorp Grange and the Royal Neighbors in Thorp. Survivors include her husband, Fred P. Orndoff of the family home; one daughter, Linda (Tom) Carlson of Bellevue; three grandchildren, Matthew, Andrea, and Jessica Carlson all of Bellevue; and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, four sisters, one brother and two half brothers. A memorial service of commemoration to celebrate life of Alice Orndoff will be conducted at 1 p.m., Thursday, July 22 in the Ward's Funeral Chapel, with Rev. Tom Carlson, officiating. Inurnment will be at a later date in the Thorp Cemetery. Those who wish may make a memorial in her name to the Oncology Department of the Wenatchee Valley Clinic, 820 N. Chelan, Wenatchee, WA 98801. Ward's Funeral Chapel in Leavenwroth is in charge of arrangements. Ellensburg Daily Record, July 20, 1999
