Description	:	Hancock Rites Set A sudden heart attack which she suffered at De Grey Memorial Day took the life of Mrs. Beulah Hancock, who died a short time later in St. Mary's Hospital in Pierre, where she had been taken following the attack. Funeral services will be held Thursday afternoon at 2 o'clock, at the First United Methodist Church, with the Rev. Don Heeringa officiating at the rites. Burial will be made in Hillcrest Cemetery. A resident of Hand County and Miller since 916, Mrs. Hancock was born April 8, 1895, at Oakland Park, Ill. Her parents were Mr. and Mrs. George Parson. The family moved to Yankton, and came to Hand County in 1916. In September 1917 she was married to Maurice Hancock at St. Lawrence, and they were the parents of seven children. Her husband died in 1945, and she taught school in Hand and Buffalo Counties until her retirement in 1964. For the past four years she had been a resident of Prairie Center Rest Home, although she continued to keep up her home in Miller. Immediate survivors are three daughters, Mrs. Alfred (Ethel) Wulff, Douglas, Wyo., Mrs. Ellsworth (Marian) Furman, Sioux Falls, and Mrs. Milo (Dorothy) Dixon, Pukwana; two sons, Howard, Spartanburg, South Carolina, and Warren, Bellevue, Wash.; 26 grandchildren; 27 great-grandchildren; one brother, Ward Parsons, Seattle.
