Moberly at the First Methodist Church Saturday afternoon for Robert Parsons who died suddenly Wednesday noon at his home. Music was furnished by the Presbyterian male quartet with Mrs. Rex Jordeth as accompanist. Burial wain the GAR Cemetery. Active pallbearers were Charles Zeller, Maruice Rediger, Earl Taylor, Paul Robinson, Geroge Voelker and Wayne Moncur. He moved with his parents to Hand county at the age of nine years and spent the remainder of his life in and around Miller. He was united in marriage to Gladys Carpenter on July 3, 1934, at Miller. In October, 1941, he became employed at the E.M. Kindred Oil Company where he was working at the time of his death. He was a member of the Presbyterian Church but was associated with the Methodist church the past four years. He is survived by his widow; one sister: Mrs. Beulah Hancock, Miller, two brothers: Elmer, Miller; and Ward, Swarthmore, Pa.; and a number of nieces and nephews.
