Description	:	Beulah Dora Wehrman, one of six children of Alfred (sic) F. and Lillie Meyers Melvin, was born April 15, 1913, on a farm near Swanton, Nebraska. She passed away January 8, 1982, at Brodstone Memorial Nuckolls County Hospital in Superior at the age of 68 years, 8 months and 24 days. Read More	Beulah Dora Wehrman, one of six children of Alfred (sic) F. and Lillie Meyers Melvin, was born April 15, 1913, on a farm near Swanton, Nebraska. She passed away January 8, 1982, at Brodstone Memorial Nuckolls County Hospital in Superior at the age of 68 years, 8 months and 24 days. Beulah moved with her family as a small child to live on a farm near Angus, Nebraska. Here she grew to womanhood and attended school near Angus at the Stone School #16. She lived most of her life near or in Angus until the death of her husband, Neal Wehrman in 1971, when she then moved to Nelson to make her home at Elk Creek Manor. She was a member of the Oak Community Church. She joined the United Brethren Church in the early years of her life and loved to go to church always somewhere. Preceding her in death were both of her parents, her husband, Neal, who died September 21, 1971, and a sister, Alma Melvin. Survivors are a stepdaughter, Mrs. Homer (Norma) Melvin of Edgar; a stepson, Clair Wehrman of Oswego, Illinois; two brothers, Homer Melvin, Edgar and Glenn Melvin of Kennett, Missouri; two sisters, Mrs. Merle (Elsie) Shafer of Edgar and Mrs. Pearl Thompson of Hermiston, Oregon; four step grandchildren, 11 step great grandchildren and three step great great grandchildren. Services were held Monday, January 11, at 2 p.m. from the Klawitter Funeral Home Chapel in Nelson, with Pastor Tom Wolcott officiating. Pallbearers were Norland Melvin, Robert Shaw, Milton Ferebee, Carl Murman, Steve Melvin and Barry Melvin. "Nearer My God To Thee" was played by organist Ivan Schafer. Burial was in the Edgar Cemetery, Edgar, Nebraska. Arrangements by Klawitter Funeral Home, Nelson. The Nelson Gazette, Thursday, January 14, 1982; pg. 14
