Description	:	ROSELAND-Mrs. Blanche Edith Fields, 78, of Route 1, died Sunday night in Waynesboro Community Hospital. She was born in Beech Grove, Feb. 4, 1905, the daughter of the late Will and Lena Thompson Grant. She was a member of the Beech Grove Christian Church and was preceded in death by her first husband, Landieth Campbell, and by her second husband, John Fields. Surviving are two daughters, Mrs. Bill (Patsy) Ferrier of Waynesboro and Mrs. John (Ollie) Hughes of Roseland; two sons, L. C. Read More	ROSELAND-Mrs. Blanche Edith Fields, 78, of Route 1, died Sunday night in Waynesboro Community Hospital. She was born in Beech Grove, Feb. 4, 1905, the daughter of the late Will and Lena Thompson Grant. She was a member of the Beech Grove Christian Church and was preceded in death by her first husband, Landieth Campbell, and by her second husband, John Fields. Surviving are two daughters, Mrs. Bill (Patsy) Ferrier of Waynesboro and Mrs. John (Ollie) Hughes of Roseland; two sons, L. C. "Carroll" Campbell of Waynesboro and Glenn Fields of Afton; one sister, Lueretia Keister of Staunton; two brothers, Alvis Grant of Shipman and Douglas Grant of Lynchburg; 12 grandchildren, 16 great-grandchildren, and a number of nieces and nephews. A funeral will be held at 11 a.m. tomorrow at the Beech Grove Christian Church, conducted by the Rev. Linda Parker, the Rev. J. D. Farries, and Phillip R. Forehand. Interment will follow in the church cemetery. Active pallbearers will be Benny Cook, Wayne Patrick, Donald Martin, Doug Kershner, Darrell Stevens, Massie Napier and Calvin Hughes.Honorary pallbearers will be members of the young adult class of Beech Grove Christian Church, nephews and Worthy Thompson, Layman Dodd, Clyde Fitzgerald, Mcauldman Campbell, Robert Mansfield, Page Grove and Luther McGann. The family will receive friends from 7 to 8 tonight in the Waynesboro Chapel of Etter Funeral Home.
