Pratt who died at her home in Lincoln January 25, were held at the Methodist Church in Battle Creek Friday afternoon. Rev. Weik of Meadow Grove conducted the service and burial was made in the Union Cemetery. Pallbearers were Leo, Fred, Everett, Irven, and Howard Tiedgen and Haskell Osborn. Mrs. Pratt, whose maiden name was Blanche Palmer, was born in Farmington, Iowa, and had reached the age of 75 years and 14 days. In 1875 she came to Nebraska with her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Jacob Palmer, who settled on a farm about four miles east of Battle Creek. She was married in April, 1891 to William H. Pratt and they lived a number of years on a farm four miles southwest of Battle Creek. In 1906 they moved to the Crook farm near Meadow Grove. Retiring from the farm in the spring of 1910, Mr. and Mrs. Pratt moved to Lincoln where they had since lived in a home of their own. In April, 1941, Mr. and Mrs. Pratt celebrated their golden wedding anniversary. Mrs. Pratt had been a member of the Methodist churches of Battle Creek and Meadow Grove and for thirty years was affiliated with St. Paul's Methodist Church of Lincoln. Surviving are the husband; four children, Harlan Pratt, Washington, D. C.; Irven, Monroe, Nebr.; Edith Stauffer, Phillips, Nebr.; and Bertha Coleman, Lincoln. There are eleven grandchildren. A brother, Will Palmer, lives in Los Angeles.
