Description	:	Bobby Benny (Cow) Holt, 68, widower of Lois West Holt, of 134 Buffalo St., Buffalo, died Saturday, Dec. 20, after a sudden illness. Mr. Holt was born in Union County on March 21, 1935, the son of Lovonia Davis Holt and the late James Hiram Holt. He was retired from Buffalo Mill as a doffer, and was employed at Paragon Plastics for the past 10 years. Read More	Bobby Benny (Cow) Holt, 68, widower of Lois West Holt, of 134 Buffalo St., Buffalo, died Saturday, Dec. 20, after a sudden illness. Mr. Holt was born in Union County on March 21, 1935, the son of Lovonia Davis Holt and the late James Hiram Holt. He was retired from Buffalo Mill as a doffer, and was employed at Paragon Plastics for the past 10 years. Known as the (Cow) he was a champion Golden Gloves boxer while serving in the United States Army. Surviving in addition to his mother, Lovonia Holt of the home are a daughter, Freida Moss of Union; three sisters, Laverne Holt of the home, Yvonne Gregory of Union and Paunese Mitchell of Buffalo; a brother, Billy Ray Holt of Buffalo; five grandchldren, Rhonda Cobb, Lawana Moss, both of Union, Dale West of Nebraska, Lori Epperson and Lynn Zyika, both of Florida; three great-grandchldren, Will Cobb of Union, Brittney Dunagin of Spartanburg and Ansligh Moss of Union and a very special friend and companion, Sonja Hicks of Union; and very special family members, Rita Fuggle of Buffalo, and her daughter, Melissa Fuggle of Union, Shanon Barnes of Union and her children Anna Barnes and Nathan Barnes, both of Union; Joe Hicks, Joey Hicks, Chris Hicks, Jackson Hicks, Roy Hicks, Kayce Hicks and Amy Hicks, all of Union. Mr. Holt was predeceased by a brother, Joe W. Holt. and a granddaughter, Carol Ann Dunagin. Funeral services will be held at 3 p.m. Tuesday at Lewis Funeral Home Chapel conducted by the Rev. Scott Cobb, the Rev. Johnny Burgess and Dr. Tim Driggers. Interment will be at Bogansville United Methodist Church Cemetery. The body will remain at Lewis Funeral Home where the family will receive friends from 7 until 9 tonight. Active pallbearers will be Dale Gregory, Mike Gregory, Will Cobb, Roy Hicks, Joe Hicks, Jamie Mitchell, Richie Barnes and Chris Hicks. Honorary pallbearers will be: employees of Paragon Plastics, Kathy Parks, Jonas Hayes, William Moss, Joey Hicks and Robert Prince. Active and honorary pallbearers are asked to assemble at the funeral home at 2:30 p.m. Tuesday. Memorials may be made to New Hope Baptist Church, 308 Linersville Road, P.O. Box 728, Buffalo, S.C. 29321. The family is at the home, 134 Buffalo St., Buffalo. The Lewis Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
