Born December 25th 1936 a daughter of the late James Hiram and Lovonia Davis Holt. Mrs. Gregory was a member of Browns Creek Baptist Church were she was a member of the Ruby Davis Sunday School Class. She was retired from the Union County Health Department were she worked as a Home Health Aid. Mrs. Gregory was a member of Browns Creek Baptist Church were she was a member of the Ruby Davis Sunday School Class. She was retired from the Union County Health Department were she worked as a Home Health Aid. Yvonne loved country music and frequently attended the venues were Jimmy Smith, Wayne Williams and other local pickers went to play their music. Surviving Mrs. Gregory are two sons Mike Gregory and Dale Gregory both of Union, one Brother Billy Ray Holt And his wife Pearlee of Buffalo one grand daughter Debbie Inman and her husband Jamie and two great grandchild Samantha and Jamie Inman, a sister-in-law Clara Holt and two special friends Lee Gregory and Harriet Owens. She was predeceased by two sisters Paunese Mitchell, Laveren Holt, two brothers Bobby and J.W. Holt. Funeral services will be held Sunday January 17th 2010 at Browns Creek Baptist Church at 3:00 pm with Reverend John Lee, Dr. Tim Driggers, Reverend Tommy Baily, and Reverend Johnnie Burgess officiating. The family will receive friends tonight Saturday January 16th 2010 from 6-8pm at the Lewis Funeral Home. The family is at the home, 3427 Lockhart Highway. The Lewis Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements
