Witwer Funeral services for Mrs. Bula Witwer, 81, who died Sept. 14, at Lundberg Memorial Hospital, were conducted Saturday morning at the Methodist Church. The Rev. Theo Krumrey, pastor, officiated. Music included "Beyond the Sunset" and "My God and I," which had previously been requested by the deceased. Burial was in Greenwood Cemetery. Carder. She was married to Wayne W. Witwer Dec. 21, 1905. They made their home in and near Creighton until 1942 when they moved to Grand Island. Mr. Witwer died in 1950. In 1964 Mrs. Witwer returned to Creighton to make her home. She died after a brief illness. She was a faithful member of the Methodist Church, both in Creighton and Grand Island. Surviving are four daughters, Mrs. M. W. "Bill" (Marie) Meikle of Creighton, Mrs. Lucille Phillips of Auburn, Mrs. Eugene Claassen of Grove City, Minn., and Mrs. Bill (Ruth) Seaman of Minneapolis, Minn; eight grandchildren and eight great grandchildren; one sister, Mrs. Bertha Jones of Central City, and one brother, Calvin Carder of Phoenix, Arizona. She was preceded in death by her husband; two sons, Dean in infancy and Wendell in 1958; her parents and one brother, Earl Carder." Thanks to Gayle Neuhaus for sending the obituary.
