Byron F "Pat" McKelvey was born December 20, 1927 in Clemons, the son of Harry B and Marianne J O'Dell McKelvey. He graduated from the Clemons High School in Clemons. Pat served in the Air Force and after completing his service, he was employed by the Lennox Corp and briefly owned his own business, 4 Season Heating & Cooling. After Pat retired he briefly worked for Ron Fisher Furniture Makers. He lived with his companion, Virginia, on her family farm, mowing grass, planting flowers and working in his woodshop, accompanied by his dog, Todd. Pat is survived by his daughter, Kathleen (James) Goss of Oxford, PA; his grandson, W Brian (Cindy) Godd of Oxford, PA; as well as nieces, nephews, cousins and many friends. He was preceded in death by his parents, his brother, Wayne; his sisters, Kathleen and Marguerite; and his very special complain, Virginia Logsdon.
